A trench is dug around the perimeter of your crawl space and a pipe is placed around the trench, which is then covered with stone. This trench is usually connected to a sump pump, which stores the water and ejects it outside of the house.

Exterior French Drains are installed along the outside wall of a crawl space and is used to direct unwanted water away from your home and foundation. When it rains, water flows into the pipe and is ejected to a lower level – such as a ditch, well, or street.
